The 57 area schools in our program have selected their students - this year, we will honor 420 eighth grade students at our event. Parents were notified in mid-March with the news.

Cost:  $25 per person, plus a small fee per reservation.  Rotary Honor Roll Students will receive complimentary tickets.

We are proud to announce that our keynote speaker for this year's Rotary Honor Roll Luncheon will be Pat Hazell. Showtime declared Pat Hazell one of the five funniest people in America. But most important to us, he grew up in Omaha and was an 8th Grade student from Beveridge Middle School. more»

The Rotary Honor Roll honors 5% of the 8th grade students in the Omaha Metro area at a luncheon each spring.  The selection of the Rotary Honor Roll recipients was made by their schools on the basis of these categories

  • Leadership: Works well with others | Respects opinions of others | Honest, dependable and reliable
  • Character – Kind and courteous | Responsible | Demonstrates respect for others and respect for the environment
  • Scholarship –Demonstrates thirst for knowledge | Shows ownership of academic outcomes | Respects teachers & the learning environment
  • Presence – Behaves appropriately | Respects self and others in dress, speech and actions | Responsible for portraying positive self-image
